Amnesty redux

His desired second-term agenda nicely composting by now, Bush drug up his abandoned policy position of granting temporary amnesty to undocumented workers. This was the third of four reasons I could think of for voting for Bush in 2004 - all policies he had abandoned or neglected at the time I wrote,

3. Policy of granting temporary amnesty for undocumented workers from Mexico

These workers are indeed contributing to our economy and deserve to enjoy the protections and benefits they deserve as well as pay full taxes. It wass a step in the right direction - the stated policy should not be condemned. But again, Bush does not seem interested in following through.

Yeah, it's a shame President Bush is a quitter and just dropped the ball after 9-11 in declaring war on terrorism and trying to dismantle their network so that the world is a better place to live in.
Uh, the world's a better place because Bush declared "war on terrorism"? How do you figure?
My sarcastic point wasn't that the world is better yet, but that President Bush has NOT given up on fighting terrorism. He knows that its a long, hard fight, but he has the fortitude to keep fighting it.
Yeah, but what specifically are you talking about? What Where When How?

You sound like a Bush speech, not someone interested in policy. I actually thought you were.
Apart from Iraq which we can both agree should not have been a part of the war on terror, there still is a coordinated effort by the administration to put terrorists on the run. You called the president a quitter, but he is not backing down on his fight against global terrorism.

I thought you gave credit when credit was due.
You still sound like a Bush speech. I can't respond to "the administration is putting terrorists on the run! The president is not backing down on his fight against global terrorism!

I mean, read what you wrote: you sound like a cheerleader.
I am not built like a cheerleader!!

Tell me, whose side are you on anyhow?
Give me a "B"!
Give me a "U"!
Give me a "S"!
Give me a "H"!

What does that spell? BUSH!!

I always wish I were a cheerleader though, but as said not built for it. So, that was fun, thank you!
