Good news
The Afghan Christian convert has been released and The Twin Cities will remain a two paper metro.
Brazil is expanding rain forest protection.

Excelent to hear you will retain the two paper system. It really sucked whem Detroit's went to - well two papers one owner.
I am really glad to hear that the guy was released. I am waiting to hear the outrage from the right complaining that their judiciary is being influenced by other nations.
Brazil needs more raionforest protections.
And NASA is going to build a permenent base on the moon. They are implying it is to prepare fro Mars missions. I would speculate they will be constructing launch facilities. I'm giddy with anticipation. . .
I notice the only other comment traffic is in the bad news - leaving the good new completly ignored until now. . .

Why should we not dwell on the observation that we've been in Iraq for three years and we're now seeing record death rates?
Because, if we dwell on the positive, our warm fuzzies will just jump right into the midst of that civil wa- I mean sectarian violence and everyone will lay down arms. It'll be hugs all around.
Sorry, I see the glass half full in my life. We must mourn the loss of life and express our sympathy and gratitude for those who lost their lives. But we also should celebrate the good things happening, and the goodness democracy will bring.
