Rush on his own idiocy 

First, he pretends not to understand the question, "Do you believe there's a difference between something that is wrong and something that is illegal?" When given the example of cheating on one's wife, he feigns ignorance over whether cheating on one's wife is actually legal. Then he huffs and puffs a string of lies. Then the next caller gives him another whooping.
