Fear of Clowns

I would like to surmise developments in current events over my last weeks of business thusly,

• It's hard to poo-poo the elimination of al Zarqawi. Given that taking out top brass has been Israel's strategy for many decades, it's just as hard to believe it will have the desired effect.
• Congratulations to the WH for flip-flopping on their willingness - nay, the USA's willingness - to directly engage Iran in negotiations over their nuclear program.
• Congradultions to Bush for creating the world's largest marine sanctuary. I'm positive there's no oil there.
• Everyone has to watch these videos (via).
