The Republicans won't turn out the vote and the world will finally be saved from the Republicans

The Evangelical turn-out machine is broken because a lot of evangelicals aren't going to vote for homosexuals and their enablers who send the real men to die in Iraq. This means more gains than expected from looking at polls. Dems take 39 House seats and 6 Senate seats.

I've arranged for a vacation day Wednesday to usher in the post 11/7 era.

Hi all!
p
G'night
Are you still celebrating?
Or are you getting nervous because now if Congress screws up, you can't blame everything on Republicans?
Hi - I'm mojoey from Deep Thoughts. Your blog was nominated for The Atheist Blogroll by one of my favorite blogs, biblioblography. I added your blog. I've you would like to learn more and participate, please read this post: The Atheist Blogroll
I wandered in here completely by accident, only then realizing, this is my old Friend Erik, my long lost compatriot who moved from NC to MINN, to a place where dressing in layers was more important than a Semen encrusted clown. And what can be more important than that? Ok, I've just watched Bush's State of the Union address and I could swear I heard the sound of one hand clapping (and it wasnt the hand of the semen encrusted clown, either).

Bush's speech was a pedestrian mess, basically hiding his call to support 20,000 more Americans now called to wander the streets of Iraq in an attempt to "contain" the populace. Goddamn. It's painful.

What WAS something to remember, was Webb's Democratic Response. Jesus Christ, Webb didnt mince words with this one. I was pretty surprised and I have to be honest and see I was practically glued to my couch watching ole Webb. Man, the Democrats made the right call to get him up there. What an effective delivery. I thought Webb's speech was worth watching the whole mess for, even though I normally cant watch Bush for six seconds without practically ripping the remote from its slumber in an effort to change the channel.

Erik, send me an Apple Pro. I'm ready to convert! HEEL ME, Sir Erik!

Goddamn, I shouldnt have started this...
I don't know when you may read this, or even if you will but a post is a post and I'm leaving one anyway. I write for the sheer fun of having my work read in fanfiction sites. It's more of an exercise than anything else, but it keeps me going. Eventually I will get better at it. Hopefully.

I found this site by accident looking for images of The Last Supper. Google probably linked me to the photographic ad on your page.

You must have some sort natural magnetism about the way you write because I couldn't help but stay to read the entire blog. (For simply the fiendish reason that I've read nearly everything interesting in my house there is to read.) I did not, unfortunately, understand most of what you had to say which was slightly disconcerting to me. I had the feeling I was missing much in the way of satire and sarcasm which would have made me feel much better as a Canadian laughing at the American political system. However most of us are scared sh*tless of American politics since they seem to elect men who send armies in after absolutely bubkiss.

I am recently graduated from my high school, aka four years of cruel and unusual punishment. I took World Issues as a course. It explained much, and solved nothing. I believe my mind acted as a sponge and absorbed it all for the final exam and then it evaporated immediately afterwards. Convenient, but dumb.

It is a shame that you have stopped writing which could be the result of three things. A)You got married. B)You're dead. And C)You got bored with it. Suffice it to say I have enjoyed what I could understand from you. It reminded me greatly of a book I read called jPod by Douglas Coupland. Same style of writing more or less. Cynicism with a dash of political/religious/everything else ranting. Rantillect.

So foresoon and sooth I thank you for an enjoyable afternoon, many pictures born of panic contrast, and the wonderful suggestions on how to prepare ramen. Long live the versatile noodles and soup.

Merci beaucoup.

I'm back, or rather, still here. As I'm working a M-Th job now and as a result I don't have the flexible time I once had. My intended post-election hiatus was extended. Moved in with girlfriend, obsessed with a new hobby, sent on secret missions in dangerous environments ...

As soon as I can get my laptop to see my camera, I'll be posting about my new hobby, and sharing my amusement with the outrageous.
A.L. Anderson, a recent college graduate, of course you have been liberally indoctrinated. Come back in 10 years when you have a real job and we'll see if you still think the same.

How is Congress' approval ratings these days, Erik?
Frankly, the more education one has obtained the better thinker one is. The mutually reinforcing reasons are obvious: one has to have successfully cultivated the prior education so as to be admitted to the next level, and so on. However you wish to measure it, the most educated come out on top. Including how successful one is at winning elections as a Republican. If it wasn't so obvious, it would be ironic that you don't see any elected R's who have actually elected to eschew their own formal educations.

On congressional approval, you are right though: the D controlled congress has failed to deliver their explicit or implied campaign promise to move forward on ending the war. We'll see stronger movement in that direction as we approach Nov 08, I'm sure. Suck for all those who have to die in the meantime.
