Jon Carson
Obama will certainly be the main person to be credited with a win, but Jon Carson - the campaign's field director - would be the hero of a landslide if it happens.
In 2004, Howard Dean's wave of support from young voters failed to materialize in the primaries. An unexpected Obama landslide will result from young, black and newly registered voters showing up in numbers greater than the pollsters are predicting.
Hopefully, Carson's field campaign will render Will Rogers' famous quip antiquated,
I'm not a member of any organized political party. I'm a Democrat.
