Erode, India - A farmer was trampled to death by an elephant in Bargur forest area near Erode, police said today.
The 47-year-old man had left home to tend his cattle two days ago. When he did not return till Friday evening, people started searching the nearby forests, where his body was found. His body was found crushed in many parts.
