Elephant kills 5, locals live in terror
The battle is on.
A wild rogue elephant went on the rampage in Badmal and killed an old couple, then, a day later, it struck again killing three more in the Jhankara area. The elephant also destroyed over 15 thatched and mud houses, besides destroying or eating paddy kept after harvesting. No one seems to have any clue why the elephant has gone on the rampage amongst the villages.
